Tomas Kitchen Living are a great British kitchen and furniture brand and one of the three showrooms is here in St Albans!
The central look can be described as CLASSIC MODERN, that is to say it’s modern, yet not overly modern. Clean lines, functional design and great materials lay at the heart of this timeless look, and the handle-less naturalSHEER kitchen model is perhaps the epitome of this style. Much loved for its tactile and organic styling details, naturalSHEER was created in 2009 by Tomas Hinton - Founder, Designer and Director.
Since that time the SHEER concept has evolved and other styles have emerged… so if you prefer your kitchens to be more cutting edge check out minimalSHEER, with its state-of-the-art styling. Or perhaps you’re a traditionalist and prefer a Shaker style – without all the twiddly bits.. in which case classicSHEER could be right up your street. At the St Albans showroom, you can see displays and samples and also see the vintage styled decoSHEER model.
Tomas St Albans was established over eight years ago on the corner of Catherine Street and Etna Road. There are some on-street public parking spaces directly outside the showroom at the top of Etna Road. If one of these spaces is available, visitors can park there free of charge for one hour. For longer visits, the NCP car park at Drovers Street is just five minutes’ walk away.
Our St Albans Kitchen Showroom
The showroom features two main kitchen displays alongside various Danish Furniture and Lighting pieces. Visitors can also discover examples of the free-standing Tomas furniture, such as sheerCASES, solid oak boxCASES and a Turner Table.
At street level, there is a complete naturalSHEER in Knighton Sky with a curved island, appliances and a working Quooker tap. Also there is a second island with Walnut trims and various Danish Furniture and Lighting items.
The lower ground floor is laid out like a real room and features a fully operational naturalSHEER kitchen with in Poppyfield Light Leaf with Ash trims, also here there is a huge curved sheerCASE, Strum Tables, Carl Hansen Lounge Chairs and a Dining Table and Wishbone Chairs.
Examples of the other SHEER styles can also be found and a drawers packed with samples and swatches.
