Highgate, North London... yet another fabulous kitchen project
The Story
Forming part of a full extension and home renovation project in a wonderful family home in Highgate, North London, this kitchen eptitomises the mininalSHEER design concept.
The ultra clean-lines, squared up styling and neutral colour scheme, were warmed up with some lovely touches of natural oak.
To avoid any visual clutter, the ovens were discreetly positioned on the island.
This opened up the chance to create a stunning full height arrangement for the fridge, freezer and pantry storage... all artfully built into the wall!
We are huge fans of Martyn Clark Architects who created an exceptionally beautiful space... high ceilings, acres of glass and a polished concrete floor. The perfect space to create a minimalSHEER kitchen.
The Details...
This kitchen is our minimalSHEER model... it;'s SQUARE yet COOL :-)
The cabinets are finished in Haven Warm Grey... such a restful colour!
White Attica by CAESARSTONE was chosen for the tops and wall cladding. Eagle eyed admirers of TOMAS KITCHEN LIVING may spot the 20mm thickness, flush square edge profile and drop mitre detailing... these are all hallmarks of the minimalSHEER model.
The oak Arcadia Shelf is a super way to introduce defused task lighting and stylishly caps off the wall cladding.
Appliances are by Miele and Bora and the tap is a Quooker Flex.
This kitchen is simply gorgeous! It was a real pleasure to work with such lovely clients and really great to have such a large space to shape and create.
Apart from the kitchen itself, we created a wonderfully dark dining area, a bright and breezy TV zone and even a funky utility room in Waterwheel Tan! We supplied Erik Buck Stools, an exquisite leather clad drinksCASE, floor tiles, Louis Poulsen Lighting and even helped specify the folding door system by our good friends IDSystems!
