Tomas Kitchen Living are a great British kitchen and furniture brand and one of the three showrooms is conveniently located at Market Place, Falloden Way, Hampstead Garden Suburb - where there is even a dedicated visitor parking space. There are also showrooms in St Albans and Cambridge (where the actual cabinets are hand-built to order).
The central look can be described as CLASSIC MODERN, that is to say it’s modern, yet not overly modern. Clean lines, functional design and great materials lay at the heart of this timeless look, and the handle-less naturalSHEER kitchen model is perhaps the epitome of this style. Much loved for its tactile and organic styling details, naturalSHEER was created in 2009 by Tomas Hinton - Founder, Designer and Director.
Since that time the SHEER concept has evolved and other styles have emerged… so if you prefer your kitchens to be more cutting edge check out minimalSHEER, with its state-of-the-art styling. Or perhaps you’re a traditionalist and prefer a Shaker style – without all the twiddly bits.. in which case classicSHEER could be right up your street. At the London showroom, you can see displays and samples and also see the vintage styled decoSHEER model.
Our London Kitchen Showroom
Tomas London was established over five years ago in a prominent corner location – most North Londoners will have probably seen it when driving along the A1 from Henley’s Corner towards Highgate. It’s easy to park around there and there is also the aforementioned visitor parking. If you’re traveling by tube it’s a short hop by uber or bus – or better still you can arrange to be collected by car from East Finchley tube station.
The showroom is absolutely beautiful and features three main kitchen displays alongside various Danish Furniture and Lighting pieces. Visitors can also discover examples of the free-standing Tomas furniture, such as sheerCASES, solid oak boxCASES, and a Turner Table.
There is a complete naturalSHEER kitchen display in Waterwheel Light Blue and Foreshore White with a curved island, Corian tops, and Miele Appliances
Also, there is a second complete kitchen in the minimalSHEER style, finished in Poppyfield Dark Blue and Haven Cool Grey with Ash trims and details.
The latest addition to the collection classicSHEER is also represented here with a display featuring reeded glass doors, walnut trims, and London Grey quartz countertops by Caesarstone
In addition to the kitchens, there are various Tomas freestanding furniture pieces such as a curved a sheerCASE, a boxCASE, Strum Tables, Turner Table, Lighting by Louis Poulsen and various chairs by Carl Hansen & Son complete the picture.

Tomas Kitchen Living are truly a complete kitchen company. In addition to hand-building each cabinet (just up the road in Cambridge), a complete service is provided. From the initial design consultation through to completion of your London kitchen project, the service we provide is comprehensive, friendly, and professional – as our many reviews will affirm.
The process typically begins with a visit to Tomas London. This first meeting can simply be a quick look at the showroom displays and a conversation about your project and, if required, a steer on likely prices. Also, at this point, or at another convenient time, a liveDESIGN session can be arranged. Together we will unlock the optimum design for your space and, once a layout has been created, a detailed quotation is sent a few days later. If the quotation is acceptable and you are minded to move forward, a £500 deposit is required – this will trigger working drawings and/or a further design meeting. There are so many items to consider and decisions to make, depending on time-scales, it may not be necessary to decide every detail straight away. This is absolutely fine, as long everything is confirmed around 8 weeks before delivery.
The level of service at the installation stage will depend on the type of project. Many of our London kitchen installations are part of a new extension, where we’ll provide a delivery and dry-fit service. Also available is our full turn-key service in London where we organise all trades as required.
As a complete kitchen company, we also supply appliances (typically Siemens or Miele), countertops (typically Caesarstone, Corian or Dekton) and all the usual equipment such as sinks, taps and recycling bins.
